PRESS RELEASE / August 15, 2023 (Everett, MA) – Night Shift Brewing is ready for their annual Oktoberfest festivities with exclusive new releases and events at their beer gardens, Everett and Lovejoy Wharf locations – complete with a Stein holding competition, live music and lots of fun for all.
Night Shift Brewing is celebrating Oktoberfest with limited releases of:
Owltoberfest– German-style Helles – our crushable flagship beer of Oktoberfest weekend, brimming with citrusy notes of orange juice, tangelo, and yellow peach. A hoot with every sip.
Prost Malone – unfiltered Munich-Style Lager that sings a smooth harmony of malty richness, toasted bread, and subtle, earthy hops. Brewed with rockstar flair and chart-topping flavor.
Chill Zwickelson – German-Style Zwickelbier that tees off with a fairway of bready malt flavor, subtle grassy hops, and a hint of citrus. A hole-in-one for your palate.
Kolsch Encounters – German-Style Kolsch that beams down a cosmic blend of crisp, light malts and otherworldly refreshment. Hints of apple, pear, and a close encounter with deliciously fruity hops.
Dunkel John’s Band – smooth, delicious Munich-Style Dunkel that honors a legendary band with its name and label artwork. It beer pairs best with good friends, warm blankets, and a crackling fire. The Night Shift Beer Gardens on the Esplanade and Everett are celebrating on Friday, September 22. The first 25 people at both locations will receive a free Night Shift Oktoberfest t-shirt. And Night Shift Beer Garden Allston will be serving One Mighty Mill pretzels.
The Everett Taproom hosts their Oktoberfest celebration on Saturday, September 23 with their annual Stein holding competition, live music from the Hofbrau Polka Band and Intergalactic Kegger Time. There will also be food trucks on site such as Lobster Proper, Far Out Ice Cream, The Sausage Guy and the new Night Shift Eats food truck.
The Lovejoy waterfront restaurant hosts their Oktoberfest celebration on Sunday, September 24 with live music from the Hofbrau Polka Band and special Oktoberfest inspired menu items.
Night Shift Brewing has its roots in a small kitchen on Josephine Ave in Somerville, MA. In 2007, Co-Founders Rob, Mike, and Michael began homebrewing at night, making beers for friends and family that they hoped were more delicious than the commercial options on shelves. In 2012, the trio moved their hobby to a small Everett warehouse and launched the business.
