PRESS RELEASE / August 11, 2023 (Boston, MA) – For the third year, the Samuel Adams Boston Brewery is partnering with Dunamis to present Jamaica Plain’s Annual Porchfest. The brewery will honor this community music, dance, and theater festival with the re-release of Porch(fest) Rocker, a sessionable summer gose aged on raspberries and lemon. This year’s can label features the work of local illustrator and cartoonist Felipe Álvarez de Toledo, reflecting the character and vibrancy of the Jamaica Plain neighborhood.
This year’s JP Porchfest will take place on August 19 from 12-6 pm throughout the central neighborhoods of Jamaica Plain. The Sam Adams Boston Brewery Beer Garden will be a main porch, featuring draft pours of Porch(fest) Rocker, Porch(fest) Rocker popsicles from local entrepreneur Wild Pops, and live music all day long. Sam Adams will also have a pop-up Beer Garden at the Loring Greenough House, one of the festival’s mainstages.
To kick off the weekend, the Brewery will be hosting the JP Porchfest Kickoff Party on August 18th to enjoy live music, and games, and get your map to plot out which porches to hit during the festival. More details about the events can be found below.
