In its 12th year, the Best of Craft Beer Awards is now the third largest brewing competition in North America. North Shore Hazy IPA earned a Gold Medal and Gran Paradiso Italian Pilsner took a Bronze. Seth Barnum, Head Brewer at True North Ales remarked, “North Shore is an OG — one of our original four from 2017. A hazy, low ABV IPA that impressed some highly qualified judges at BoCBA and continues to be a fan favorite. Earning medals for both an IPA and a lager highlight the talents of our team.”
True North Ale Company is located in Ipswich, Massachusetts. Opened in 2017, its beers have been poured in more than 2,000 bars and restaurants and sold in more than 2,000 stores in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and RhodeIsland. The brewery has won major international awards, to include Gold and Silver Awards at the World Beer Cup and twoGold Medals, a Silver Medal and a Bronze at the Great American Beer Fest. It was voted Best Brewery on Boston’s NorthShore four consecutive years. Its North Shore location features 150+ seat open-air and tented patios and 150+ seat indoor seating. The North Side events venue may host events with more than 250 guests.
