The show marks the 20th anniversary of the band’s acclaimed Warner Brothers release Hanukkah Rocks, a joyful and hilarious collection of original Hanukkah songs that has become a seasonal favorite for fans around the world. The LeeVees — made up of Adam Gardner (Guster), Dave Schneider (The Zambonis), Dan Saks, Shawn Fogel, and Dave Butler (Guster) — promise a night full of music, laughter, and community spirit.

The love Boston has shown for Guster and The LeeVees has always been special — and all I can say is, look out Ipswich!”
Fans can expect to hear favorites from Hanukkah Rocks along with a few surprise Guster covers. The all-ages event is a perfect way to kick off the holiday season — bring your friends, bring your family, and bring your holiday spirit for a one-of-a-kind Hanukkah celebration.
Formed in 2005 by Adam Gardner of Guster and Dave Schneider of The Zambonis, The LeeVees set out to fill a musical gap — catchy, clever, and joyful Hanukkah songs. Their debut album Hanukkah Rocks was hailed by NPR’s Bob Boilen as “the best holiday record of the decade without question.”
The band’s popularity has continued to grow through the years. In December 2023, The LeeVees performed a Tiny Desk Concert for NPR, introduced by retired show creator and longtime fan Bob Boilen. In 2024, they were featured in the PBS special “A Celebration of Hanukkah,” broadcast nationwide.
The LeeVees have toured with Guster, Barenaked Ladies, and Matisyahu, and performed with The Boston Pops at Symphony Hall and at The Kennedy Center. Their songs have also appeared on hit shows like Grey’s Anatomy and The Cleveland Show.
In honor of their 20th anniversary, the band will release a special vinyl edition of Hanukkah Rocks in 2025, including a brand-new track titled “The Penny.”
