Medford’s new dining & entertainment development scheduled to open in late summer 2024

PRESS RELEASE / April 16, 2024 (Medford, MA) – The Great American Beer Hall, scheduled to open in late summer 2024 at 142 Mystic Avenue in Medford, has released renderings that provide a detailed look at the venue and its guest experience.

The GABH is a 17,000 sq foot, tap room-style beer hall that will offer a wide array of New England’s most popular craft beers, plus select cocktails, seltzers, wine, domestic/imported beers, and non-alcoholic beverages. The GABH’s first floor features a 17,000 sq foot tap room / beer hall and a 4,800 sq foot outdoor beer garden. Interior and exterior mezzanine levels round out the facility’s design.

The Great American Beer Hall will be located at 142 Mystic Avenue in Medford, MA. Mystic Avenue runs through the heart of Massachusetts’ Metro North and parallel to Interstate-93.  Acting as a “gateway to Boston”, Mystic Ave’s potential as a thriving area of commerce and entertainment has long been a vision for the city of Medford.

The GABH ownership group has deep roots on Mystic Ave, owning and operating a small business since the early 1960’s and making local real estate investments ever since. As Mystic Ave becomes a destination for people to live, shop and enjoy entertainment, the GABH seeks to help the city of Medford pioneer this redevelopment and drive sustainable future growth.

The Great American Beer Hall will serve as a local gathering spot that brings together the community and catalyzes a long-awaited reinvigoration of Mystic Ave. Patrons will come for the GABH’s New England craft beer selection, stay for its pizza and live music, and return for the social experience.

An in-house restaurant concept and executive chef will be announced soon.  The food offerings are still being finalized, but the focus will be on traditional, American classics – artisan pizza, sandwiches, wraps, salads, brunch, desserts, etc.
