PRESS RELEASE / August 11, 2025 (Boston, MA) – Roundhead Brewing Company is presenting the brewery’s first Summer Music Series from August 16 to September 13 at the Jamaica Pond in Jamaica Plain, MA. In keeping with their community-focused mission, they will feature local musicians performing original music, or music that is in the public domain.
Following on the success of their Roundhead Beer Gardens last summer, which rotated through six of Boston’s parks, this event invites the community together to share food and beverages along with live music at Jamaica Pond.
“Boston’s parks are a refreshing place to bring together community members and create opportunities for local businesses,” said Mayor Michelle Wu. “I am excited to see Roundhead Beer Garden travel across our lively parks for a second year as Boston continues to be a fun and family-friendly home for all with public spaces for all to enjoy.”
The Line-Up for Roundhead Brewing’s Jamaica Plain Music Series:
- Aug 16: Three At Home; Ray Liriano Experience
- Aug 23: Krista Page
- Aug 30: Gabriel Maia Trio 3-5p; Brassterisk Brass Band
- Sep 6: Brazilian Choro and Forró with Catherine Bent and Friends
- Sep 13: Albino Mbie
Now in its 3rd year of operation in Hyde Park, Roundhead is known for “cerveza que reúne,” or “great beer that brings people together.” But their artisan style craft beer is only one of the items on the menu. The spacious taproom welcomes everyone to visit with friends, play skee-ball or ping pong with the family, gather to knit, to watch a game, to enjoy Latin-inspired food from the Roundhead Pizza Kitchen, or to host a private event.
“The Summer Music Series is the latest of our initiatives to connect with the diverse communities in Boston,” explains Luis Espinoza, founder, co-owner, and head brewer. “Music brings people together in a way that breaks down barriers. It even plays a role in the brewing process since I like to play reggae music while our Dragon Fruit sour Quantum Reggae is fermenting.”
“Roundhead was forged in Jamaica Plain, where Luis and I live, and where we originally met as neighbors. With this music series, we recognize our roots, and give back to the community,” adds co-owner Craig Panzer. “This is Roundhead’s way to say thank you for all the love and support.”
The Roundhead Beer Garden will operate on weekends at Jamaica Pond from Friday, August 15 to Sunday, September 14, with live music on Saturdays. More information about the beer garden and music series can be found at: roundheadbrewing.com/cerveza.

Roundhead Brewing Company, the first Latino-owned brewery in Massachusetts, is a five-barrel brewery and community taproom located in the Boston neighborhood of Hyde Park. Great beer is the starting point for Roundhead’s mission: cerveza que reúne // beer that brings people together. Roundhead offers small-batch brews with a Latino influence, as well as creative food combinations from the brewery’s own pizza kitchen. The company is locally owned by Boston residents Luis Espinoza and Craig Panzer, who met each other on the sidelines of their kids’ Jamaica Plain Youth Soccer games. Roundhead Brewing Company operates from the historic Powerhouse at Westinghouse Plaza. Great beer and inclusive community now fuel the continued success of this neighborhood brewery.
