Community Festival with (un)Mass Beer Garden!
PRESS RELEASE / September 23, 2025 (Hyde Park, MA) – Roundhead Brewing Company is excited to announce CONTIGOFEST 2025, a community festival celebrating the start of the brewery’s fourth year in operation. The event happens on Saturday, October 11, from 12-8 pm, and embodies Roundhead’s mission of ‘Cerveza Que Reúne’ — great beer that brings people together.
The community is invited to join their neighbors, friends, and family for a day of all-original live music, great food, and craft beer from Roundhead and 10 local guest breweries. The festival is all-ages from 12-4 pm, with admission restricted to 21+ from 4-8 pm.
“Our plan has always been to connect with the diverse communities in Boston, so we have created a place for folks to come together,” says Roundhead co-owner Craig Panzer. “This commitment to a down-to-earth, small-batch approach is what inspired the (un)Mass Beer Garden at this year’s Contigofest, which will feature over 30 unique beers from 10 local breweries.”
CONTIGOFEST will include 16 lines of Roundhead brews on tap, along with 20+ small-batch beers from local independent breweries in Roundhead’s (un)Mass Beer Garden, including Distraction Brewing, Drawdown Brewing, Portico Brewing, Remnant Brewing, Hot Plate Brewing, Democracy Brewing, Providence Brewing, and Dorchester Brewing Company. The (un)Mass Beer Garden refers to Roundhead’s five-barrel model and commitment to not mass-producing craft beer.
“At Roundhead, we make small-batch beer so we can take risks and brew new styles. Each brew is a chance to experience something new. We can make the beers our customers know and love, and also push ourselves to be curious and try something different,” says Roundhead co-owner and brewer Luis Espinoza.
He adds, “We love this about our customers — their curiosity. We’ve built trust with them. They’re always excited about what comes next, and making them happy is the best reward. At Contigofest, we are proud to bring people together, including other brewers who share this passion for exploration.”
Admission for beer drinkers is a $10 commemorative CONTIGOFEST glass. With this glass, you can purchase tokens for $7 to exchange for a pour from Roundhead and guest brewers. This unique token system allows Roundhead to distribute proceeds directly to the participating breweries. In addition, all beer and food sales will include a 20% Fair Wage Fee, reflecting the brewery’s commitment to pay equity for its staff, who are paid a minimum of $22.56 per hour instead of tipped wage.
Ray Liriano Experience (RLE) will headline at Contigofest with a live performance of all-original composition. As a Boston-based artist with roots in the Dominican Republic, RLE takes a fresh twist on Latin rock. Evan Murphy Trio will also be performing. Food will be available for purchase from the Roundhead pizza kitchen as well as from Torn Fusion. Torn Fusion offers elevated street food with unexpected mashups, drawing on Latin and Caribbean influences.
Customers can reserve their spot for CONTIGOFEST by purchasing a commemorative glass online at www.roundheadbrewing.com/
