PRESS RELEASE / July 6, 2023 (Everett, MA) – Night Shift Brewing is psyched to announce their second AI inspired release, Owls In Boston IPA!

Owls In Boston IPA is the follow up to this winter’s release of A-IPA, and the beer is packed with notes of orange citrus, tangy pineapple and hints of fresh pine.

A fusion of technology, art, and beer, this 6% hazy IPA features hundreds of owls taking over our favorite Boston landmarks. The owlpocalypse is here and they are flocking to some of Boston’s most iconic landmarks such as Boston Common, Fenway Park, Fan Pier, Boston Harbor, Boston Garden, Zakim Bridge, Prudential Center and the Boston Public Library. There are 10 different label versions and each 4 pack is a surprise journey around the city. Some of the labels are:
  • Make Way For Owls on the Boston Common
  • Tourist Trap at Faneuil Hall
  • 7th Inning Stretch at Fenway Park
  • Halftime Show at TD Garden
  • Just Cruisin’ on the Boston Harbor
  • 93 Traffic on the Zakim
  • Owl’s Eye View at The Prudential
  • Book Smart at The Public Library
  • Dirty Water on The Charles River
  • The Town In Charlestown
Both the beer and the labels are inspired by AI, and Night Shift Brewing Co-Founder Michael Oxton and the brew crew imagined what it would look like if owls held huge parties in some of Boston’s best spots.

Night Shift has rolled out billboards teasing Owls in Boston throughout the city on 93, Route 1, and Route 16 and these will continue to rotate for the next couple weeks as well.
Owls In Boston IPA is available now at the Night Shift Everett Taproom (87 Santilli Highway, 617.294.4233) and Night Shift Lovejoy Wharf waterfront restaurant (1 Lovejoy Wharf, 617.456.7687). It will be hitting taps and shelves at local on and off premise locations next week!
Night Shift Brewing has its roots in a small kitchen on Josephine Ave in Somerville, MA. In 2007, Co-Founders Rob, Mike, and Michael began homebrewing at night, making beers for friends and family that they hoped were more delicious than the commercial options on shelves. In 2012, the trio moved their hobby to a small Everett warehouse and launched the business. Today, Night Shift Brewing operates locations in Everett and Boston MA, and distributes beer throughout MA, CT, ME, NH, NY, PA, RI, VT, NJ, MD and DC.
