HAY, HONEY! It’s officially MASS BEER WEEK!!! …a time to celebrate our local breweries!!! You could say they LOVE this annual week-long event, because they LOVE sharing The LOVE with you! …and so.of.course they wanted to do something special …and so.of.course they went the extra-mile for this one (literally) …they travelled to where THE LAND meets THE SEA! …they thought why do One Collab Beer…when they can do TWO! …let’s just say weird things happen when Farmers go to the beach, lol. STONE COW BREWERY (Barre, MA) and BAD MARTHA FARMER’S BREWERY (Martha’s Vineyard / Falmouth, MA) got together for #massbeerweek to brew a HAY & HONEY -flavored Belgian Saison where they threw hay from the farm right into the mash tun, just for fun! …just for crazy/awesome factor of 10 with honey, too! AND then, they were having so much fun with Their/New Brewer Friends they decided to go down to the ocean to get some Massachusetts Sea Water to make a true-to-style Salt Water (and Concord GRAPE) German Sour/Tart GOSE …get it … historically, Martha’s Vineyard has been known for it’s wild-grapes! So in review…Yes they made a beer with hay! Yes, they made a beer with salt water! Yes Joe’s feet were freezing! …Yes, you could say they’ll do just about anything for YOU their Craft Beer Community! Both “Hay, honey!” and “Salt & Vine” beers are available at BAD MARTHA & STONE COW locations…gotta try-em! #lovecraftbeer
