PRESS RELEASE May 6, 2025 (Providence, RI) – Narragansett Beer is celebrating American Craft Beer Week (plus Quahog Week) at their Providence taproom, this month from May 12–18. We’re talking a week of pure, unfiltered celebration of all things craft beer—and a little local flavor, too.
Here’s how they’ll be raising helles (and shells):
MON 5/12 – Trivia Night | 7–9PM
Classic pub trivia with ‘Gansett’s legendary bar team, cold beers, and even colder competition. They’ll be serving up brain busting, prize winning, good times.

TUE 5/13 – Motif Tattoo Awards | 6–9:30PM
Our annual ode to local ink: live tattooing (yes, free Hi-Neighbor tattoos), live judging, raffles, and local artists getting the recognition they deserve.
*Note: Free “Hi-Neighbor” tattoos available on a first come, first served basis!
WED 5/14 – Helles Light Drops + Gansett Run Club | 6–8PM
‘Gansett’s Helles Light makes its tap debut. No big party, just great beer from Lee and a lowkey flex. This thoroughly refreshing, light German lager is brewed with all German barley and the noble hop Hallertau Mittelfruh. At 3.9% ABV, this little lager is packed with flavor! Pair it with a 5K as a post-run pint with ‘Gasnett’s weekly Run Club.
THU 5/15 – Quahog Night | 5–7PM
Quahog Week meets Craft Beer Week in the most Rhode Island way possible. DEM and local shellfishermen will be onsite shucking and slinging free littlenecks. Quahog Week shines a light on Rhode Island’s favorite local clam, the hard-working men and women who harvest them and the vibrant local food industry that makes them available to consumers. It’s the 9th annual celebration of the state’s most iconic clam!

SAT 5/17 – Superluminal Neighbors Release Party
‘Gansett is teaming up with Wayward Lanes on a brand new brew and throwing a launch party with live music from Funkademic. Come for the beer, stay for the funk.
Throughout the week there will be fresh pours, weird traditions, local legends, and plenty of chances to say “Hi, Neighbor” over a pint.
