PRESS RELEASE / October 1, 2024 (Massachusetts) – Massachusetts craft beer lovers, get your creative juices flowing! The Mass Brewers Guild is excited to announce the opening of submissions for the 2025 Mass Beer Week Glass Design Contest. Running from October 1 through October 31, 2024, this contest is your chance to create the artwork that will represent Mass Beer Week (March 1-8, 2025) across the state.
Mass Beer Week is a state-wide celebration of local craft beer, bringing attention to our incredible breweries and driving traffic to participating locations. A highlight of the week is the release of the annual collector’s glass, which showcases the winning design. This artwork will also be featured on social media, fliers, and a T-shirt to promote the week of events, helping to attract visitors and beer enthusiasts alike.
This is the third year the Mass Brewers Guild is inviting Massachusetts artists and designers to submit their designs for a chance to win ultimate bragging rights, an $800 cash prize, and an MBG prize pack, which includes two tickets to a Mass Craft Brewers Festival on April 26, 2025. The competition is open to all Massachusetts residents, making it a true celebration of the Commonwealth’s creativity and passion for craft beer.
How to Enter:
- Submissions are accepted from October 1-31, 2024.
- The design must incorporate the following elements:
- Up to three colors.
- The Mass Brewers Guild logo.
- The year 2025.
- The hashtag #MassBeerWeek.
- The slogan ‘Drink Mass Made Beer.’
- Artwork must be submitted as a vector file.
The winning design will not only appear on glassware and merchandise, but it will also play a key role in supporting local breweries during Mass Beer Week by encouraging visitors to explore new venues, taste locally-made beer, and contribute to the state’s thriving craft beer community.

Founded in 2007 by a group of committed and passionate brewers, the Mass Brewers Guild, is organized for the purposes of promoting craft brewing and protecting the interests of craft brewers across the Commonwealth. The association is membership based and open to all Massachusetts breweries licensed by the federal Tax and Trade Bureau and the Commonwealth’s Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission. The nonprofit creates a community of brewers while shining light on the broad range of breweries and styles offered throughout state. Through industry and educational events and by providing resources and marketing support to brewers, the nonprofit works to highlight Massachusetts as a top travel destination for craft beer in the U.S. The board also continues its work at the legislative level serving as the voice of craft brewers on Beacon Hill. The Massachusetts Brewers Guild is a 501(c)6 not-for-profit corporation.
