PRESS RELEASE / January 31, 2024 (Ipswich, MA) – Today True North Ale Company announces the release of Wind Chill Cold IPA. Brewed with German lager yeast and fermented at the higher end of lager temperatures to produce a clean and bright canvas for the dry-hopped American Citra and New Zealand Nelson Sauvin and Wai-iti hops varietals. This beer, an interpretation of the India Pale Lager, drinks crisp and hoppy, with notes of peach stone fruit, honeysuckle, and pineapple.

In January of 2022, True North Ales became the first craft brewery in Massachusetts to brew a Cold IPA. Head Brewer Seth Barnum has elevated the style, earning a Silver Medal at the 2023 Best of Craft Beer Awards versus strong competition.

Wind Chill Cold IPA will be available for a limited time at select bars and restaurants in Massachusetts and at the True North Ales Taproom.
