PRESS RELEASE / February 15, 2023 (Everett, MA) – Night Shift Brewing is releasing 19.2 oz cans of their 6% American IPA, Santilli, and a brand new 9% American Double IPA, Super Santilli. These cans are their first big play in the tall 19.2oz single can format, which is a quickly growing format in the beer industry, especially in convenience stores.

Santilli is Night Shift Brewing’s flagship American IPA, named after the brewery’s street address in Everett, MA. Its recipe was voted into production by fans in 2015. The next year, Santilli won the Bronze Medal in the American IPA category at the 2016 World Beer Cup. The beer pours bright gold with a nose of grapefruit zest and pine needles. Begins with big citrus flavors and a light, malty sweetness. Finishes clean, pleasantly bitter, and crisp. A boldly flavored, beautifully balanced, smooth-sipping IPA for every occasion.
Super Santilli is double India Pale Ale and The Santilli you know and love, but cranked to 11 (or 19.2 to be exact). With Super Santilli, they raised the ABV to a hefty 9%, and cranked up the hops. Yet, somehow, they kept the grapefruit and pine flavors perfectly balanced, it’s described as having flavors of a thousand grapefruits and an entire pine forest – no small feat. And speaking of small, we asked ourselves “Why stop at 12 ounces?” With Super Santilli, you get 19.2 ounces of bold, crisp DIPA goodness per (giant) can. As the wise say, you can never have too much of a good thing.

19.2oz singles of both cans will be available mid-February at Night Shift’s Boston and Everett locations, as well as store shelves across Massachusetts and beyond.
Night Shift Brewing has its roots in a small kitchen on Josephine Ave in Somerville, MA. In 2007, Co-Founders Rob, Mike, and Michael began homebrewing at night, making beers for friends and family that they hoped were more delicious than the commercial options on shelves. In 2012, the trio moved their hobby to a small Everett warehouse and launched the business. They relied on a “craft better” mindset and their passionate community of loyal customers to quickly grow their staff, production, and distribution in the local market. Today, Night Shift Brewing operates locations in Everett and Boston MA, and distributes beer throughout MA, CT, PA, NY, ME, and NH. It is currently one of the top 100 craft breweries in the country by volume.
