The festival welcomes more than 3 dozen craft brewers

with live music, food trucks on June 24

PRESS RELEASE / May 10, 2023 (Fitchburg, MA) – The Nashua River Brewers Festival returns to Riverfront Park on June 24 with Beers For Good bringing more than three dozen craft beer and cider brewers, live bands and food trucks to Fitchburg to showcase the city’s downtown and support local nonprofits.

The mission of the festival each year is to celebrate the great variety of regional craft breweries, attract people to the City of Fitchburg, provide a unique and entertaining event for city residents to enjoy with friends and neighbors, and raise money for worthy local causes.

The all-volunteer-run festival began in 2008 and has evolved over the years to include more varied and innovative craft breweries from Massachusetts and throughout New England, bring in an impressive collection of talented regional musicians, survive a pandemic, and champion the revitalization of downtown Fitchburg and its small business. Beers For Good has also donated more than $80,000 to local charities over the last 15 years.

This year’s event runs from 1 to 6 p.m. and strives to be part of a citywide party that will include concerts and beer-related events the night prior and after the festival at the nearby Boulder Café, The Cellar, Hollis Hills Farm, Partners Pub, River Styx Brewery, Thirsty Robot Brewery and Wachusett Brewery.

The Jim Weeks Band will headline the festival’s live music lineup, which will also include Otis & the Blackhearts and The Bru.

We want to bring the crowds to Riverfront Park in 2023 so we decided to hold ticket prices steady this year at $35 in advance and $40 at the door – which includes all 4 oz. beer, cider and seltzer tastings as well as a collectible glass! Advanced tickets can be purchased at BeersForGood.com with no fee for a limited time and at local retail vendors.

Beers For Good is affiliated with the Community Foundation of North Central Massachusetts. Proceeds from Beers For Good events benefit local charities. All gifts and donations to Beers For Good are tax-deductible under federal charitable donation guidelines. Beers For Good is also affiliated with the City of Fitchburg to bring you the Nashua River Brewers Festival at Riverfront Park.
