PRESS RELEASE / July 23, 2018 (Sturbridge, MA) – Folks, we have heard from the good people at East Dennis Oyster Farm. We have a likely date of August 12 for the pop up oyster bar. Now, in case, you didn’t know, oysters on the half shell are my favorite food. And oysters grown with constant TLC by John and Stephanie Lowell of East Dennis Oyster Farm are the best I’ve ever had. They are plump, sweet, clean and briny and make me feel like I just jumped into a breaking wave.
In addition, I have ordered fresh shucked oysters from Red’s Best and they are sourced from elsewhere on the Cape. We will be frying them in clarified butter Thursday evening.
As usual, we have the talented Tamsin Lucey of the Bread Box Company coming for a pop up bakery Wednesday at 4.
Friday we debut Marylou Ferrante and her blues guitar at 7pm
Saturday we get the lovely Suzanne out of the kitchen and in front of the microphone with her band The Luscious Lushes at 6
Sunday, another talented Homefield debut at 2 at Prateek brings his beautiful originals to our Sunday funday.
Then we hit August with full kegs and bursting harvest baskets.
We just tapped another tart beer made with raspberries called High Summer. In addition we have a dark beer called Melange which we made with a malthouse blend of specialty malts. We are running Ballpark regularly for fans of the flavorful light beers. And of course our hoppy series keeps rolling. Currently we have a Good Moment in Time and on deck is Reflections dosed with quantities of Waimea and Nelson Sauvin hops from New Zealand. In August we’ll have a sour cherry beer as well.

Saturday August 4 at 6pm we bring back the sweet saxophone of Dozer and the Homewreckers
Sunday August 5 at 2pm Kala Farnham returns
