The Massachusetts brewery will donate $1 from every pint
and 16 ounce can of Charlie Mike III sold.

PRESS RELEASE / October 31, 2019 (Amherst, MA) – Amherst Brewing is excited to partner with Soldier On again this year and offer a new batch of Charlie Mike, Charlie Mike III.

$1 from every pint sold of Charlie Mike III will be donated directly to Soldier On, a local non-profit organization founded in 1994 that works to put an end to Veteran homelessness. Read more about what they do here: https://www.wesoldieron.org/what-we-do-2/

Also for the first time they will have cans available of Charlie Mike III available for sale in Amherst starting on 11/4. $1 from every can sold will also go to Soldier On. They have increased the batch size this year and will have plenty of cans available for sale and lots of draft available at each Hangar Pub and Grill location.

Charlie Mike III is a Double IPA at 8.2% abv and was brewed using locally grown and malted wheat from Valley Malt in Hadley, MA.They also used a considerable amount of this year’s Veteran’s Blend of hops from YCH, with $3 per pound of hops contributed to the Wounded Warriors Family Support Fund (https://www.wwfs.org/)

They also hopped this beer with a blend of Nelson, Enigma and Amarillo.

So join Amherst Brewing at any Hangar Pub and Grill location for a pint for a good cause, or for cans in Amherst.

About Amherst Brewing

Our process is rooted in over 20 years of small batch experience built on a solid foundation of traditional beer making with an experimental approach. We design beers that can be appreciated on their own but can also be enjoyed with food in one of our pubs. The restaurant environment is what drives us forward with instant feedback from our patrons and our small batch operation allows us to act quickly with continuously changing flavor interests.
