PRESS RELEASE / May 12, 2026 (Boston, MA) – Night Shift announces the reopening of their seasonal beer gardens. Between now and late fall, the beer gardens at the Esplanade, Allston and Dewey Square on the Greenway are an ideal spot to gather with friends and enjoy delicious drinks in the urban outdoors. Night Shift fans and dogs are all welcome.
To kick off the beer garden season, Night Shift is celebrating with the following releases rolling out to kick off the season:
-
Rickey Sour – a sour ale with raspberries and lime that is a throwback to Raspberry Lime Rickeys at ice cream stands and soda fountains. Crack one open and let endless summer begin! 6.0% ABV.
-
Mai Day – this is a Maifest Lager brewed for longer days, sunny hangs, and that first real taste of spring. Lightly toasty with a clean floral hop finish, Mai Day is perfect for Beer Garden sipping. 5.9% ABV.
-
Double Parked – There’s no such thing as being too bold on Boston’s streets, and the same goes for this beer. This double IPA hits hard with flavors of juicy citrus, dank passion fruit, and tropical punch from Citra, Galaxy, and Mosaic hops. A dangerously drinkable 8.5% ABV with a smooth haze, this beer is unapologetically in your way (but you’ll be glad that it is.)
-
Levity – Night Shift’s newest and tastiest non-alcoholic offering! Bright flavors meet soothing botanicals in these naturally flavored sparkling waters, with hops adding a crisp zest and gentle floral aroma. Levity is gluten free and made with probiotic fermentation and electrolytes. New rotating flavors of Pina Colada Ginger and Tropical Basil are perfect summer sippers.
The Night Shift Beer Gardens also offer the brand’s all styles welcome options, including: Whirlpool (Hazy Pale Ale), Santilli (American IPA), Fluffy (Hazy IPA), Nite Lite (American Light Lager), rotating seasonal small batches and sour ales, Hoot hard seltzer, Night Shift’s selection of house wines, and non-alcoholic beverages are also available.
A rotating line up of food trucks will be rolling through the Esplanade and Allston locations this season. Guests are welcome to bring outside food to enjoy with Night Shift beverages as well.
Hours of operation will expand as the season progresses and the latest updates are always on Instagram @nightshiftbeergardens.

Night Shift Brewing has its roots in a small kitchen on Josephine Ave in Somerville, MA. In 2007, the co-founders began homebrewing at night, making beers for friends and family that they hoped were more delicious than the commercial options on shelves. Night Shift’s mantra is “all styles welcome” – they exist to celebrate and welcome all beverages, all people, and all ideas. Anyone who wants a seat at their table has one. The brewery maintains a relentless focus on the three values: integrity, innovation, and inclusivity.
