Tune in each night to meet five brewery owners who braved their first year

in business during a pandemic

Monday, March 8 – Friday, March 12 | 7 to 8 p.m. | During Mass Beer Week

PRESS RELEASE / February 9, 2021 (Massachusetts) – The first year for any new business is always a challenge, but to open amidst a global pandemic – well – that’s something else entirely.

Tune into the first-ever virtual edition of “Meet the Brewers Freshman Class,” March 8th – 12th, 7 to 8 p.m. during #MassBeerWeek, to hear from five of the state’s newly opened breweries. The interviews will be featured on Zoom for attendees who want to interact live with the brewers/hosts and ask questions, and it will also be streamed live on Mass Beer Week’s Facebook page.

You’ll meet the brewers and owners, hear their startup story, their pivots and turns, hard lessons learned, and most importantly, how you can get your hands on their beer! The brewers will also do a virtual tasting of one of their newly launched beers.

Want to drink along? Of course you do!

We’ll post a shopping list in the coming weeks on what they’ll be drinking and where you can get it.

Each night will be hosted by a different, well-known, Mass. beer geek.

About Mass Brewers Guild

The Mass Brewers Guild is the state’s nonprofit organization that works to protect and promote the interest of craft brewers.  Through industry and educational events, its mobile application beer trail map, and by providing resources and marketing support to brewers, the nonprofit works to highlight Massachusetts as a top travel destination for craft beer in the U.S. The nonprofit’s board also works at the legislative level serving as the unified voice of craft brewers on Beacon Hill.
