PRESS RELEASE / August 1, 2024 (Ipswich, MA) – True North Ale Company kicks off the fall season with Season of the Witch, a double dry hopped hazy & juicy IPA. Citra, Vic Secret, and Strata hops produce explosive flavors and aromas of passion fruit, mango, pineapple, and melon. The ABV is kept purposefully low at 5.9%, making for a very drinkable beer. The mouthfeel is soft, the body full.
“We brewed Season of the Witch exclusively for our fans in Salem, Massachusetts in 2019. Each succeeding year, its popularity has exploded. It’s a great patio beer, and the comparatively low ABV means you can relax and have another,” said Jake Rogers, Founder & Chief of Brewery Operations at True North Ales. “Fall seasonals are typically thought of as pumpkin and spice beers, and we offer a great one. But as an IPA, Season of the Witch stands apart from the pack. It has shown to be very appealing to beer drinkers across the board.”
The artwork on the Season of the Witch can label was created by noted Marblehead artist Amy Hourihan. Packaged in kegs and cans, it is available in stores and restaurants throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and at the True North Ales Taproom through October 31st. Must be the Season of the Witch!
