PRESS RELEASE / February 15, 2023 (Ipswich, MA) – True North Ale Company has partnered with Mill River Winery to add locally crafted wine to its lineup of award-winning beers. Mill River Winery, based in Rowley, MA, will produce proprietary red and white blends for sale by the glass through the True North Ales Taproom.

Mill River Winery sources grapes locally and from premium wine regions around the globe and is known for its quality and creativity,” said Gary Rogers, co-founder of True North Ale Company.

We look forward to providing their guests an outstanding selection of wines through this partnership.”
The True North proprietary white blend is crisp and dry, produced from Washington state grapes. The True North proprietary red blend is a big, bold claret crafted from California and Washington grapes. The wines will be served at the True North Ales Taproom and during events held on-site throughout the year.
True North Ale Company is located in Ipswich, Massachusetts. Opened in 2017, its beers have been poured in nearly 1,700 bars and restaurants and sold in more than 1,500 stores in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island. The brewery has won major international awards, to include a Gold Award at the 2018 World Beer Cup, Gold and Bronze Medals at the 2021 Great American Beer Fest, and a Silver Medal at the 2020 Great American Beer Fest. It was voted Best Brewery on Boston’s North Shore four consecutive years. Its North Shore location features 150+ seat open-air and tented patios and 150+ seat indoor seating. The events venue, The North Side, may host events with more than 250 guests.
