PRESS RELEASE / December 8, 2023 (Cambridge, MA) – The Chill Over the Charles igloo experience at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Boston – Cambridge returns for another season on Friday, December 8, 2023.
From the comfort of your igloo, sample a collection of three Framinghammer Baltic Porter Beers by local brewer Jack’s Abby Craft Lagers. This unique line of seasonal Baltic Porters spends a lengthy conditioning period in bourbon and rye barrels, and taps local suppliers to create unique flavors, such as the German Chocolate Cake Framinghammer, which is made with Taza chocolate.
A new three-course family-style menu is offered, featuring two salads, up to four entrées, four sides and an assorted Chef’s dessert platter. Groups can also chill out with a drink meant to be shared like the Apple Cinnamon Sangria or Winter Wonderland, and pair it with small plate á la carte options, including Housemade New England Clam Chowder, Blue Crab & Pablano Dip, the popular Crispy Chicken Sandwich, and more. Don’t forget to end your night with a dessert, especially the DT Cookie Skillet.
Available Thursday – Saturday from 5:30pm to 10:00pm (weather permitting and hours/days subject to change), guests can visit OpenTable to reserve an igloo for two hours for a group of 4 to 8 people, making this experience a great option for an intimate birthday gathering, special celebration or after-work happy hour. Food and beverage minimums apply.
