Season Opening is Family Friday, June 21st, 3 PM till 8 PM
PRESS RELEASE / June 17, 2019 (Phillipston, MA) – Red Apple Farm of Phillipston and Moon Hill Brewing Co. of Gardner are continuing with their second season of the Brew Barn at Red Apple Farm. Just like last year, the Brew Barn will be pouring 8 Moon Hill Brewing beers plus Rick & Al’s Apple Ale, a collaborative beverage with Red Apple Farm – and their most popular offering at the Brew Barn.
According to Al Rose of Red Apple Farm, “This year we are adding two festivals to our summer lineup, a Blueberry Festival and the Sunflower Festival. We have already planted the sunflowers and will make our first ever sunflower park.” Rick Walton, Moon Hill Owner, added, “I will get lost in the sunflower park. It’s gonna be like a maze in there. But I will go and take one for the team.”
The Brew Barn is also hosting a number of special groups from the area including Yoga Saturdays with The Yoga Tree of Gardner, MA, Fiddlers Loft Sundays put together by Fern Parker, a Pups & Pints event with Dakin Humane Society, Paint Days with Artsy Alice and an opening day 5K Beer Run powered by Fitness Concepts. The Brew Barn will again feature live music on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Al Rose also said “We will continue to have all of our farm amenities just like last year.” These include the famous Red Apple Farm BBQ, Country Store, farm animals, hayrides, ice cream, popcorn and the list goes on.
According to both Rick Walton and Al Rose, there is one important thing to remember: The Brew Barn opens each week on Friday, at 3PM. We call them Family Fridays, featuring free hot dogs and ice cream for the kids with a BBQ purchase and free hayrides for everyone.
