Consumers can stop into iconic Boston bars on Friday, June, 2024 throughout the parade to enjoy Boston’s Original IPA and complete challenges to win prizes

PRESS RELEASE / June 20, 2024 (Boston, MA) – The 18th banner is *officially* being hung in TD Garden – and Harpoon Brewery is kicking off the celebrations by popping up along the parade route to offer a taste of New England’s Original IPA – Harpoon IPA.

Harpoon will be at three bars along the route – Bell in Hand Tavern, The Dubliner and Beantown Pub. Customers can visit these bars as they watch the parade to have a taste of Boston with Harpoon’s classic IPA.

Once the parade is complete, the Harpoon Beer Garden at Emerson College Uncommon Stage on the Boston Common, will open for customers to come stop by to continue celebrating Boston’s 18th banner.

For a full list of where Harpoon beers are sold throughout Boston, consumers can use the Harpoon Beer Finder at: https://www.harpoonbrewery.com/beer-finder/.

The Celtics aren’t the only Bostonians that will be able to win. Harpoon Brewery is launching their new loyalty program – Harpoon Rewards – that gives consumers a chance to win prizes when they complete challenges and purchase Harpoon beer.

There will be a variety of challenges to celebrate the launch, including taking a photo with your Harpoon beer celebrating the win, checking-in at bars along the parade route and tagging Harpoon, and answering Harpoon trivia questions. In honor of the Celtics’ 18th Banner, prizes will include rebates on any Harpoon purchase, gift cards to the Harpoon Beer Hall in Boston’s Seaport, and gift codes to use for Harpoon’s retail website (while supplies last).

Consumers that join the loyalty program will continue to build up points through purchasing Harpoon products, stopping into the beer hall and visiting a restaurant or bar that has a Harpoon tap that they can redeem at the Harpoon Beer Hall.

For those that want to watch the parade and celebrate without going in-person, Harpoon Brewery will be showing parade coverage in their Beer Hall and offering a wide variety of Harpoon beers and food options.
