Tastes of Vermont land in Boston
On Friday, September 21, the Green Mountain State will meet the Bay State when the outdoor patio at OAK Long Bar + Kitchen is transformed into a pop-up beer garden presented by Zero Gravity Brewery, complete with picnic tables, snacks from the OAK kitchen and giant patio games like Connect 4 and Jenga. The beer list will exclusively feature four brews from the Burlington, VT brewery including this year’s Oktoberfest, a marzen lager made with all German malts and hops. Also: Green State Lager, Conehead IPA, Little Wolf Pale Ale. A selection of MA ciders will be available for non-beer drinkers.
The OAKtoberfest food menu will offer a variety of shareable bites such as jumbo Bavarian pretzels served with beer cheese, cider donuts, gourmet pigs-in-a-blanket, caramel coated popcorn (OAK’s play on cracker jack), flatbreads and more.
OAKtoberfest will take place for a limited time, open to the public daily from 4–8 p.m. starting on September 21 through the seasonal closing of OAK’s patio on Columbus Day, Monday, October 8.
