PRESS RELEASE / August 8, 2024 (Everett/Boston, MA) – Night Shift Brewing is raising a stein to Oktoberfests’s triumphant return! Prost-pone all other plans – their celebration dates have dropped so you can eat, drink and yodel at each of their spots. The annual Oktoberfest festivities have exclusive new releases and events at the Night Shift Beer Gardens, Everett taproom and Lovejoy Wharf waterfront restaurant.

WHAT: Night Shift’s Oktoberfest features a Stein holding competition, live music, festive bites and lots of fun for all. The brewery is also rolling out more Oktoberfest inspired releases than ever before with various styles:

  • Chill Zwick – German-Style Zwickelbier that tees off with a fairway of bready malt flavor, subtle grassy hops, and a hint of citrus. A hole-in-one for your palate. 5.4% ABV.

  • Prost Malone – unfiltered Munich-Style Lager that sings a smooth harmony of malty richness, toasted bread, and subtle, earthy hops. Brewed with rockstar flair and chart-topping flavor. 4.5% ABV.

  • Pretzelbier – A beer inspired by pretzels! This lager features salt and mustard seed – sipping lightly sweet with notes of freshly baked pretzel and toasted baguette. 4.4% ABV.

  • Pfaffenheck – Hard to say, easy to drink – this is a bright, crisp, traditional pilsner. Floor-malted German grain delivers soft notes of honey and biscuit, balanced by a floral, zesty hop profile. 5.7% ABV.

  • Owltoberfest – Our clean and crushable flagship beer of Oktoberfest weekend. Brimming with notes of fresh bread, tangelo, and yellow peach. A hoot with every sip. 5.5.% ABV.

  • Furth – Named after a Bavarian city, this hefeweizen sips with refreshing notes of clove, banana, and orange rind. 5.4% ABV.

About Night Shift Brewing

Night Shift Brewing has its roots in a small kitchen on Josephine Ave in Somerville, MA. In 2007, Co-Founders Rob, Mike, and Michael began homebrewing at night, making beers for friends and family that they hoped were more delicious than the commercial options on shelves. In 2012, the trio moved their hobby to a small Everett warehouse and launched the business. Today, Night Shift Brewing operates locations in Everett and Boston MA, and distributes beer throughout MA, CT, ME, NH, NY, PA, RI, VT, NJ, MD and DC.
