Teddie Beer – Peanut Butter Porter – Is A New Limited Release

That Gives Back To The Community With Every Sip

PRESS RELEASE / November 2, 2023 (Boston, MA) – Night Shift Brewing and Teddie Peanut Butter are pumped up to announce the launch of Teddie Beer – a new, limited edition beer collaboration between the two local Everett neighbors. Teddie Beer – made with Teddie Natural Peanut Butter – is a 5.8% peanut butter porter with aromas of hazelnut coffee and peanut butter candy, sipping with flavors of dark chocolate, cocoa, and a roasty bitterness. $1 from every 4-pack of Teddie Beer sold will be donated to the Greater Boston Food Bank.

“Fans have been waiting for us to do a big collaboration with Teddie for years,” says Michael Oxton, Night Shift Co-Founder. “At our Everett location, you can smell their delicious peanut butter from across the street on almost any day. It’s about time we put that deliciousness into a beer.”

Teddie Beer – available in 16 oz. 4-packs – will be officially released on November 10 at Night Shift’s locations in Everett and Boston. It will then start hitting bar taps and store shelves in the following weeks. It is the latest release from Night Shift’s Share the Night series, a collection of beers that give back to the community with every sip – $1 from every 4-pack sold goes to a local charitable organization.

“Teddie is pleased and proud to put our name on this very special craft beer. We hope everyone enjoys this beer, not only for the taste, but for the community involvement it supports,” says Mark Hintlian, President/CEO of Teddie Peanut Butter. “We are also excited that $1 from every 4-pack sold of Teddie Beer will be donated to the Greater Boston Food Bank, as Teddie has been longtime supporters of this incredible organization.”

To celebrate the release of Teddie Beer, Night Shift is throwing a “Camp Teddie” party in Everett on Friday, November 10. Throw on your coziest flannels, gather around the campfire, and be among the first to taste Teddie Beer. There will be a make-your-own s’mores station (with Teddie peanut butter among other seasonal treats), live music from DJ Sprino, an exclusive Teddie PB Cup Martini, and a special collab donut by local Kane’s Donuts (see below for more). About Night Shift Brewing

Night Shift Brewing has its roots in a small kitchen on Josephine Ave in Somerville, MA. In 2007, Co-Founders Rob, Mike, and Michael began homebrewing at night, making beers for friends and family that they hoped were more delicious than the commercial options on shelves. In 2012, the trio moved their hobby to a small Everett warehouse and launched the business. Today, Night Shift Brewing operates MA locations in Boston and Everett, and distributes beer throughout MA, CT, ME, NH, NY, PA, RI, VT, NJ, MD and DC. Night Shift’s mantra is “all styles welcome” – they exist to celebrate and welcome all beverages, all people, and all ideas. Anyone who wants a seat at their table has one.
