Celebrated with a Pickle Party at Boston Lord Hobo
PRESS RELEASE / August 26, 2023 (Boston, MA) – Lord Hobo Brewing and Grillo’s Pickles have partnered up to brew another batch of their beloved limited-release beer, infused with over 100 gallons of Grillo’s dill pickle brine. Available for a limited time, Pickle Beer is an easy-drinking lager brimming with fresh, bright, and tangy flavors.

Lord Hobo aged a select portion of the Pickle Beer atop Garrison Brothers HoneyDew Bourbon-soaked barrel cubes for an additional exclusive release, introducing a hint of sweetness to create a Pickle Back beer. These cubes, crafted from repurposed bourbon barrels, were steeped in Texas Wildflower honey. Once richly infused, they were added to a bourbon tank, bestowing HoneyDew bourbon with subtle sweetness and honeyed notes. The Pickle Back beer is exclusively sold in 750ml bottles in Lord Hobo taprooms.

To celebrate the Pickle Beer launch, Lord Hobo and Grillo’s Pickles will host a pickle party at Lord Hobo’s Boston taproom beer garden at 2 Dry Dock Ave on Saturday, August 26 from 2-10pm. Lord Hobo Boston’s food menu for the party will incorporate Grillo’s Pickles throughout, with specialties such as Nash-dill hot chicken sandwich and a flatbread with Grillo’s famous Pickle de Gallo, along with many more fun pairings. In addition, Lord Hobo will have local vendors, pickle games and activities, mug printing, live music and live screen printing onsite, with special, one-day-only Lord Hobo & Grillo’s designs.
Lord Hobo Pickle Beer will be available for a limited time in Lord Hobo taprooms, on tap in select bars and in 16 oz 4-packs at retailers all around the Northeast starting at $12.99.
