Fruitlands Annual Bonfire
November 2, 2019 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
The Fruitlands Annual Bonfire is back!
Help them say goodbye to the 2019 Main Season in style. They’ll host their 7th annual bonfire on November 2nd. The event begins at 5pm and the fire will be lit as night falls around 6:15pm. S’more kits will be for sale (with a small fire pit for roasting marshmallows–they’re not that crazy) and guests will be encouraged to write down a wish and tuck it in the large structure before they light it afire and send your hopes and dreams into the night sky. Bring family and friends and enjoy a heart-warming fire on an autumn evening.
Back this year, they will be joined by True West of Acton. Be sure to stop by their tent and grab a pint of one of their local craft brews or cider available for purchase. Please note that BYOB is not permitted.
Monique and Stephen of SoulWorks Rhythm, their season’s drum circle facilitators, will be here with their drums to lead an interactive community drum circle.
This is a FREE community event.
Museum admission will be complementary for guests arriving after 2pm. Take advantage of this chance to see this season’s exhibitions and explore the Fruitlands Farmhouse, Shaker, and Native American Galleries before they close for the winter season!
Rain Date: Sunday, November 3rd- Please check facebook for the most up to date weather updates.
