Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with Wormtown Brewery in Worcester

The Worcester St. Patrick’s Day Parade is one of the biggest in New England and local Wormtown Brewery is going all out. There is also the annual Irish Festival at Patriot Place which is super lively and the Wormtown Foxboro taproom is tying into that as well with a very special gravity cask tapping in addition to SPD food and drink specials, live music and step dancing!!
Wormtown Brewery, Worcester Taproom – St. Patrick’s Day Parade After Party – Sunday, March 16 at noon
Since the Worcester County St. Patrick’s Day Parade is one of the largest in New England, Wormtown Brewery is ready to celebrate. St. Patrick’s Day is very special to Wormtown Brewing as they poured their first beer on this day in 2010, and opened the taproom on Shrewsbury Street in 2015.
Wormtown has also partnered up with the WooSox to have a float in the two hour parade that starts at noon. The Worcester Taproom is the perfect spot for the parade after party. The Taco Gato pop-up is running some St. Patrick’s Day menu additions such as corned beef tacos, corned beef empanada. The bar is also pouring Shamrock shake martinis and iced Irish coffees. Wormtown is also pouring their annual limited release Irish Red – which is their take on a classic Red Ale, easy drinking and light bodied with flavors of caramel toffee and aromas of toasty malt. It’s perfect for post-parade drinking and a day at the bar!
On St. Patrick’s Day, Monday March 17, they will also be opening the taproom from 4:00 – 9:00 p.m. (they are usually closed on Monday).
