A Journey Through Recipes Past at Stone Path Malt

Join Dr. Terry Foster and Jeff Browning Sr. for a signing of their recently published book, The Life, and Death, of a Bridgeport Brewery and a conversation about old world brewing techniques.They will also be conducting a tasting with Brewport’s Golden Age Pale Ale, a recipe from the early 1900s using locally sourced malt.
About the Authors: Dr. Terry Foster brings over six decades of industry experience as an author, researcher and brewer. Terry started writing about home and commercial brewing in various magazines in England and published his first book Dr. Foster’s Book of Beer in 1979. In the U.S., he gave many presentations on technical and practical aspects of brewing, wrote for several magazines and was also on the Editorial Advisory Board of Brewing Techniques.
Jeff Browning Sr. is the owner and Brewmaster at Brewport Brewing Co. in Bridgeport, Connecticut and has been a professional brewer for more than 30 years. Jeff has spent a lifetime collecting brewing related material and gathering knowledge of brewing history from a variety of sources.
Brewers and the general public are welcome! Members of Stone Path Malt will also be giving tours of the facility.
