PRESS RELEASE / March 22, 2023 (Hyannis, MA) – Cape Cod Beer is excited to announce they are expanding distribution to Martha’s Vineyard, making their line of Hyannis-brewed 16 oz. canned beers available on island.
“Martha’s Vineyard has been on our radar for a while” explains Todd Marcus, Brewmaster/President of Cape Cod Beer Inc. “Over the years, several Vineyard business owners have approached us about carrying our beer. We now feel like we are in a place to handle the added volume needed to distribute to the Island. We believe the timing is right and are excited to enter the marketplace. “
Cape Cod Beer has started placing their products on the shelves of many local package stores and the restaurants on the Island. Additionally, they are working with various nonprofit organizations and plan to participate in charity events this summer. Some of the organizations include the Vineyard Preservation Trust, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and MVYRADIO.
“We’ve really appreciated our long-running connection with Cape Cod Beer,” said PJ Finn, Executive Director of the Island’s nonprofit radio station, MVYRADIO. “They sponsor MVY programs, have hosted station events, and even created an MVYRADIO themed Pale Ale to raise funds for us. We’re thrilled that the Island will have a chance to enjoy their product and benefit from their charitable work.”
