Free events to include Flannel Fest, Farmers Market, Beer Gardens and Movie Nights
PRESS RELEASE / September 9, 2019 (Boston, MA) – Boston Landing in Brighton is continuing its events season with more Farmers Markets, Movie Nights and Beer Gardens planned for this fall. A Flannel Fest on Saturday, September 21st, plans to be the highlight of the season!
All events are located at Boston Landing’s Guest Street campus in Brighton. Events are free of charge and open to the public. Refreshments and beverages are available for purchase.
The full fall series event schedule includes:
Beer Garden at Boston Landing – September 12th & October 10th from 4 p.m.- 8 p.m.
Stop by Athletes Park for a post-work beer and enjoy beverages & local fare for purchase from rotating brewers & merchants. Jamaica Plain favorite, Turtle Swamp Brewing, pops up on Thursday, September 12 with special guest, Sarcastic Swine BBQ. Entertainment by Vere Hill. Stay tuned for October’s featured brewer.
Outdoor Movie Night – September 18th at 7 p.m.
Bring a blanket, pack a picnic and enjoy a complimentary screening of “Rocketman” on the rolling green hills at Athletes Park! Freshly popped popcorn available!
Boston Landing Flannel Fest – Saturday, September 21st from 12 p.m.-5 p.m.
Break out your favorite flannel shirt and enjoy an afternoon of all-ages fall-themed activities, including live music Jeff Hilliard Music & The Jake Ash Band, pumpkin decorating, pie eating, wreath making, face painting, a stein holding contest and more! Adult beverages available for purchase from Mayflower Brewing, Bantam Cider and 90+ Cellars. Shop local with the Boston Women’s Market artisan market.
Boston Landing Farmers Market –Tuesdays 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., September 10th, 17th and 24th
