New Valley Beer Trail app delivers beer events in western Mass right to phones

PRESS RELEASE / June 8, 2017 (Northampton, MA)  Never miss another beer event again! Western Mass beer lovers can now download the free Valley Beer Trail app and get every beer event from dozens of local breweries and Valley Beer Trail Members poured directly into their phones in one convenient and easy-to-use app.  The Valley Beer Trail covers the vibrant western Mass brewing scene and reaches up into southern Vermont and southwest New Hampshire, too.

“Social media is a great tool for promoting beer events, but there’s always the FOMO factor – fear of missing out,” says Valley Beer Trail coordinator Mark Lattanzi. “It’s disappointing to learn about a beer tasting, special release or festival…the day after it happened. With our Valley Beer Trail app, if it’s an event posted on Facebook, it’s in the app. No more FOMO!”

All local breweries in western Mass, southern Vermont and southwest New Hampshire are included in the app. Local pubs, bars and liquor stores can become members of the Valley Beer Trail and have their events included as well.

The Valley Beer Trail is produced by the Northampton Radio Group – 93.9 The River, WHMP and Hits 94.3. The app was created by Zappen.co, a Western MA startup that helps brick-and-mortar businesses grow their online presence through social media aggregation and augmented reality.
