PRESS RELEASE / March 15, 2023 (Ipswich, MA) – This week True North Ales will launch CERVEZA NEGRA Mexican Dark Lager. Close cousin to our multi-award winning Cerveza Mexican Lager (Great American Beer Fest Gold and Silver medalist), this beer is brewed with pilsner, Vienna, and caramel Munich malts and flaked maize and complemented by herbal, zesty Perle and Saaz hops. Flavors and aromas of fresh toasted bread, honey, and orange zest are followed by a crisp finish.
Cerveza Negra Mexican Dark Lager will be available throughout the year at the True North Ales Taproom and at select bars and restaurants in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
True North Ale Company is located in Ipswich, Massachusetts. Opened in 2017, its beers have been poured in more than 1,700 bars and restaurants and sold in more than 1,500 stores in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island. The brewery has won major international awards, to include a Gold Award at the 2018 World Beer Cup, Gold and Bronze Medals at the 2021 Great American Beer Fest, and a Silver Medal at the 2020 Great American Beer Fest.
