PRESS RELEASE / August 16, 2022 (Gardner, MA) – The Bennett Matteo Band (BMB) is an ensemble of talented musicians led by guitarist and writer Gino Matteo and gifted vocalist Jade Bennett. BMB has their feet planted in roots music with unique twist that comes from their improvisational style and exceptional stage performance.
Gino Matteo is a seasoned guitarist and vocalist, with keen ability to give an emotionally powerful performance. For nearly a decade Matteo collaborated closely with American Soul Blues singer Caron Nimoy of Sugaray Rayford touring countless venues here in the US and abroad. Gino Matteo stands with the most legendary of blues players for his incredible musicianship and ability to capture audiences.
Matteo’s performance is heightened his wife Jade Bennett, a fearless vocalist who brings an infectiously soulful energy to the stage. Prior to covid this dream team was heating up the blues circuit across the western US and internationally. There performances are a progressive interpretation of roots music in combination with funk and soul.
The duo will be preforming at this year’s Oktoberfest Party in the Street on Saturday, September 24th, 2022, from 3:30-5:00 PM in front of the Gardner Ale House.
Gardner Ale House is the only full-menu brewpub in both North Central Massachusetts and Worcester County. It is a family style pub and restaurant featuring fresh, bistro style food in an upscale setting. The brewery offers 14 or more distinctive, house made brews and continues to develop new recipes. There is always an interesting, new beer on tap at the Gardner Ale House.
At the very beginning of 2017, the Moon Hill Brewing Co., at the location of The Gardner Ale House (GAH), a popular brewpub, began distributing its beer outside the doors of the venerable ‘Ale House’. We are still located at the brewpub, but have a summer gig too at the Brew Barn on Red Apple Farm and are looking at one or two other interesting projects. Watch these pages for more!
