PRESS RELEASE / March11, 2020 (Worcester, MA) – Wormtown has postponed their 10 year anniversary party, originally
scheduled on March 14 that their Worcester brewery, due to rising concerns regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19).
“Although the announcement comes with a heavy heart, we take the recent concerns very seriously and do not want to risk the health of our consumers. We feel this is the best call for everyone’s safety.” said Scott Metzger, General Manager of Wormtown Brewery. “We plan to reschedule our party on May 9th to celebrate our 10 year milestone with our community.”
On Tuesday, March 17th, the brewery will be releasing their Decade Dance imperial pastry stout and special birthday merchandise. They will have Irish step dancers and Irish themed trivia for St. Patrick’s Day and will still be commemorating their 10th birthday with a few pints. “We are grateful for all the support people have given us over these last 10 years and we look forward to celebrating together in the coming months. Be safe.” said Managing Partner David Fields.
We will still be celebrating Pi Day on Saturday with the release of our Table Talk Blueberry Lemon Pie Ale with the Table Talk crew, Sam James (from the Voice and Songland) will be playing in our taproom from 7-9p and Say Cheese food truck will be here from 3-9pm.
