Fruitlands Annual Bonfire
November 3, 2018 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
The Fruitlands Annual Bonfire is back and better than ever!
Help them say goodbye to the 2018 Main Season in style. They’ll host their 7th annual bonfire on November 3rd. The event begins at 5pm and the fire will be lit as night falls around 6:15pm. Glow sticks, and s’more kits will be for sale (with a small fire pit for roasting marshmallows–they’re not that crazy) and guests will be encouraged to write down a wish and tuck it in the large structure before we light it afire and send our hopes and dreams into the night sky. Bring family and friends and enjoy a heart-warming fire on an autumn evening.
New this year, they will be joined by True West of Acton. Be sure to stop by their tent and grab a pint of one of their local craft brews available for purchase. Please note that BYOB is not permitted.
Also joining them this year are Monique and Stephen of SoulWorks Rhythm, who will provide drums and facilitation of a community drum circle. Take a turn drumming with the group and enjoy the atmosphere of community music near the bonfire.
This is a FREE community event
Plan to arrive early and join us in the museum for light refreshments and gallery explorations before the bonfire event at our Season Closing Celebration
Museum admission will be complementary for guests arriving after 3pm. Take advantage of this chance to see this season’s exhibitions and explore the Fruitlands Farmhouse and Native American Galleries before they close for the winter season!
