Cooking Class: Sushi Making 101 at Bone Up

With over two decades of sushi-making expertise stretching from California to Boston, Chef Harold is ready to share his knowledge with you. This sushi fundamentals class is free of gluten, nuts and dairy, and focuses on small rolls, or hosomaki; inside out rolls, or uramaki; and hand rolls, or temaki.
Begin the hands-on class with miso soup, then move on to mastering sushi rolling. You’ll start with a hosomaki vegetable roll, then craft a uramaki roll filled with avocado, cucumber and carrot. Next up, learn the secrets to making a spicy tuna roll, and a temaki California roll filled with crab.
Our cooking classes are designed to be social events that do not require any previous experience. Guests are welcome to purchase beer to enjoy during the class.
