Join Center for Coastal Studies scientists and educators at the brewery for beer and a chat and learn more about the work they do to understand and protect the local and global marine environment.

Discover how scientists are using cutting-edge technology to predict the impacts of climate change on communities, to understand how sharks and seals use shallow coastal waters, and to monitor the critically endangered North Atlantic right whale population. Find out how collaborative research is supporting local commercial fisheries, how fishermen are helping clean plastic and other debris from beaches and harbors, and what YOU can do to maintain and improve ocean health, locally and globally.

They’ll be there from 5 – 8 pm, so gather your friends and swing by after work! Hosts at Devil’s Purse will donate $1 from every pour to CCS, so sip on a couple of their signature brews, grab a delicious snack from the Kut by Keltic kitchen on wheels, and meet their crew. See you there!
