Specters are haunting the Taproom! The ghosts of beers past are lingering, and readying themselves to re-appear in your glass. After consulting the ouija board, they’ve determined that their spooky forms will coalesce on October 28th. Rather than fearing the spirits, we’ve opted to celebrate their reemergence with an all day celebration!

The day begins with a cellared bottle sale at 11am. Bottles of five releases from years past will be available in very limited quantities. Each customer will be allowed to purchase one bottle total from the cellared beer stock, until we’re all out (off-site consumption only). We will have 1-2 cases each of:
Cape Codder Weisse 2015 – Mixed fermentation sour ale aged with cranberries and orange zest ($18)
Darkling 2016 – Bourbon barrel-aged imperial stout ($22)
Second Breakfast – Baltic porter ($14)
Hermit – Quad aged in oak barrels ($18)
Kahlo – 100% brett-fermented ale aged in oak barrels with blackberries ($22)

At 4pm they’ll tap two kegs from our cellar – these beers will also be available in very limited amounts, on draft only!
Krakatoa is a Baltic porter aged in bourbon barrels with Dutch-processed cocoa – a release from our 2016 Barrel Society. The flavor is as explosive as its namesake – rich and decadent, with layers of dark fruit and oak to drink through.
Mainer Weisse is a mixed fermentation sour ale aged with blueberries and cinnamon sticks. Refreshing and tart, on top of subtle spice from the cinnamon and a sour finish.

Costumes are encouraged all-day long, but from 6-7:30pm they’ll have a photo booth set up to capture your creative outfits! All photographed folks will be entered into our costume contest, and the crystal ball will reveal who has won our definitely-not-haunted NSB swag packs at 8:30pm. Make sure you’re in the Taproom at that time to hear if you’re a winner!

You’ll need some food to keep you sustained and among the living, so we’ve enlisted our finest foodies to man the patio and dish dishes.
Daddy’s Bonetown Burgers will join us from 12-5pm and The Porch Southern Fare will take over from 5-10pm.

No tickets need, pay as you drink/eat – Happy Howloween!
