On Tuesday, December 27 they’re turning their Salem Tap Room into a Kölsch Brauhaus with nothing but Kölsch along with their German food menu.

This is not a ticketed event, but a full day of Kölsch-style Brauhaus service.

Köbes (servers) will come to your table with kränze (trays) of Kölsch in stangen (Kölsch glasses). Each time you receive a Kölsch, a notch is marked on your coaster (this is the origin of the Notch name!). Repeat as desired, and when Kölsch is no longer desired, place a coaster on top of your glass to signal your surrender. At the end of your session, the notches are added up, and you will be presented with your tab for beer. Easy!

No admission fee, no tickets necessary! Stop by whenever you’d like, from 3pm to 9pm.
