This months comedians are:
John Sucich
Framingham’s own John Sucich is a comedian and writer offering a light-hearted take on everything from his life as a father of three daughters to his former career as an elementary school teacher. He has performed on stages throughout New England as well as in the Cleveland Comedy Festival and the North Carolina Comedy Festival. His writing, often humorous essays on parenting, has appeared in a variety of websites and publications, including the Boston Globe Magazine.
Andrew Della Volpe
Andrew Della Volpe got his start in comedy during a college internship at Sacha Baron Cohen’s Four by Two Films. Since graduating from Colby College in 2017, he has performed comedy on a nightly basis in Boston and New England. He appeared in the Portland Comedy Festival and can be seen regularly in Boston at clubs like The Comedy Studio.
Kylie Alexander
Kylie Alexander is a stand-up comedian from Boston who has been performing comedy for six years. She has performed in the Women in Comedy Festival, been featured on Sirius XM radio, and recently opened for Joe Machi.
Shawn Carter
Shawn Carter is a Boston-based comedian known for his everyman sensibilities and sharp joke-writing abilities. His work has been featured in the Boston Globe, the Boston Comedy Festival, and clubs, colleges, and theaters all over New England. He captivates audiences with material drawn from his everyday life, vividly conveying the trials and triumphs of personal intimacy, pet ownership, and dropping out of community college(s). In 2018, Shawn released his debut album 100 Problems, recorded in Quincy, Mass. He possesses the rare ability to command a wide variety of rooms, whether they’re packed with millennial urbanites or suburban families. He is also known as a capable, quick-witted emcee, a skill he’s honed over years of hosting local showcases and open mics. He is not married to Beyoncé.
