Additional Altbier not included\, and charged at the end of the night.\nHow does it work? Köbes (servers) will come to your table with kränze (trays) of Altbier in Altbier stangen (Altbier glasses). Each time you receive a beer\, a notch is marked on your coaster (this is the origin of the Notch name!). Repeat as desired\, and when Altbier is no longer desired\, place a coaster on top of your glass to signal your surrender. At the end of your session\, the notches are added up\, and you will be presented with your tab for beer.
