Ghostly Chanteuse Presented by: Original Gravity
This Thursday, prepare yourself for an otherworldy experience courtesy of Erin Gee and The Ghostly Chantuese. Erin is a composer in faculty at Brandeis, specializing in subtle instrumentals and nonverbal vocalizations that give shape to a haunting soundscape. The effect is chilling yet sweetly sentimental. This is a truly unique experience, which we are honored to host. Please reserve your tickets in advance.
May 4th Star Wars Trivia
Dahhh DAHH da da da DAAAAAAAAAAH Dah da da da DAAAAH Dah dadada dahhhh!!! Don’t tell me you can’t hear John Williams right now; I know you can. In the now time-honored tradition of May 4th, we are engaging warp speed with Star Wars trivia night at DTR. Whether you know all the answers by heart, or you need to search your feelings for what you know to be true, this is an inclusive evening for anyone who loves all things from a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. Don’t forget to dust off that Wookie onesie, because best dressed gets a $10 gift certificate for the taproom. More info here.
Kentucky Derby Party
Feel like puttin’ on the Ritz? Good. Because this Derby Day (Saturday 5/5), Down The Road is serving up everything but the Juleps. Take in the sun in our new beer garden, or come inside to watch the horses on our cinema-scale projector. There’s no book, but we are are handing out prizes for best dressed at 2, 4, 6 and 8PM. White suits? Big hats? Your call.
Homebrew Competition by The Worts
This project has been a long time coming, and over 500 homebrewers can’t wait for this Saturday (5/5). Down The Road Beer Co. is proud to sponsor the 23rd Annual Boston Homebrew Competition presented by The Worts. This year’s brewers are competing for a chance to try out their recipes on DTR’s three barrel system with head brewer Donovan Bailey. Each of these three beers will be served in Down The Road’s taproom complete with an exclusive release party for the winners’ friends and families.
